So we are on a yacht in Wilmington N.C. going the long way around to get to downtown. Taking the scenic route with a two hour trip that could have taken 15 minutes...an artist dream. So my wife and I and our children are with Art and Jonnie (Pronounced Joe Ney) on a beautiful day. Jonnie and I have camera's in tow and we are looking for some good shots to take on our way to downtown. Then I see this single boat tied up all by itself and it just demanded my attention...it's like I heard it say "Look over here at me" and I knew I had to capture that moment, take it home and paint it.
