The Red Barn
5One day I got my camera and started driving towards the area where my dad was born. I wanted to see what kind of interesting sites were left in an almost forgotten area of Haynes Arkansas. So I turned east onto highway 131 at Haynes on my way towards where the 3 mile store used to sit. I remember buying candy and soda pop out of that store on many of the trips we took to Arkansas to see my grandmother. The store is gone now and there are hardly any people living out there anymore but on this day I saw an interesting scene about a mile away from where my dad used to go to church as a child. It was overgrown and abandoned and full of character and was standing there just waiting for me to drive by. The color combinations in this painting leaves you several matting and framing options to match the décor in your home.
