I was out in the country on a photo shoot one day just looking for something that make a good painting and this was a good day. It was the same day I saw "The red Barn" that's down the road from where my dad went to church as a child. I followed that road around and down a steep hill and I came across this old shotgun house and yes...the washing machine was on the porch. This scene made me think about little children playing in the yard maybe making mud pies.
