"Another Rainy Day" was the second painting done in my African series. If you look closely you can see the fun I had playing with drips of paint... and as I watched the drips rain down the paper and I saw that his head was covered, the title just wrote itself in the creative process while I was throwing paint and thinking beyond just doing a portrait of this Ethiopian boy. His body mimics the effect of falling rain with the pattern you see laid into his skin. The color combinations in this painting leaves you several matting and framing options to match the décor in your home.
